A short film about five Muslim girls from East London. Each girl imagines herself a superhero, fearlessly taking on whatever life throws at her.
During a 5-day half-term holiday at Mulberry School in Whitechapel, Eelyn Lee ran a series of workshops to generate content for this short film portrait. Working with a performance poet, an animator, a cinematographer and five students together they devised five superhero characters inspired by each of the girls.
